Inspired by an appreciation for nature, this 2,100 square foot contemporary craftsman
subtly blurs the lines between interior and exterior living. An intimate relationship
between shelter and environment is created by employing open-plan living, infusion of
natural light and ventilation into the living space, capturing view corridors through careful
placement of windows, and creating a physical connection to the exterior living areas by
French doors. A palette of subdued and natural materials, including slate tile, oak and
birch, along with earth tones further tie the living experience to the outdoors.
